Vadim Krasovsky (alias Vadis)
Belarusian artist, born in Mogilev
Vadis is a self-taught artist and for many years he specialized in graphic portraits. His another passion was numismatics, he collected coins of many different countries but the majority of his collection was consisted of the Soviet Union's coins. And in 2015 while he was looking for a new way of creative self-expression he came up with the idea to combine art and numismatics – and that is how the unique technique of making portraits out of coins FACEMONEY ILLUSION was created. The same year Vadis founded the art-studio KIRINO PRADDO.
Vadis's artworks in FACEMONEY ILLUSION technique were acknowledged by Zurab Tsereteli, the president of Russian Academy of Arts as brilliantly and professionally created works of art.
Artist's artworks are in private collections in Russia, Belarus, USA, Canada, Spain, UK, Germany, India.
